Time:
<5 minutes

Tools:
#2 Philips head screwdriver
Voltmeter

Servicing, operating, and installing espresso machines can damage equipment, cause serious injury, or even death. Please adhere to all safety precautions outlined in the Slayer User Manuals. This includes: compliant power specifications, intended use applications, and safe maintenance practices.

Procedure
Step 1:
Unplug the machine from the wall.

Step 2:
Remove cup tray and back panel.

Step 3:
Identify the incoming power connector on the left side of the power supply, marked below. Unplug the machine from the wall and disconnect this plug from the power supply.

Step 4:
Keeping the power supply Molex isolated, plug the machine back in at the wall and test the high voltage. Measure between the two pins in the connector.
Voltage will be in AC 120v - 230v, depending on the voltage into the machine.

If you have correct voltage at the connector, unplug the machine and reattach the connector to the power supply before moving on to the next step.

    Step 5:
Next, identify the outcoming power connector on the right side of the power supply, marked below

    Step 6:
Unscrew the two wire leads from the right side of the power supply. Plug the machine back in and measure the DC voltage. It should measure 24V DC between the two leads.

If 24V is measured out of the terminals, the power supply is good. If not, it will need to be replaced.
