Catch Test, V3/Single Group

Catch Test
What does a catch test tell us?
A catch tests tells us a lot of information in a little amount of time. Mainly if there is any restriction of flow anywhere in the brew system. If we know the flow path is clear, we can troubleshoot elsewhere. Alternatively, if we know there is restriction in the water path, we have isolated the issue and can work to find where the root cause is.

Test:
Remove the dispersion screen and screw from each group with a flathead screw driver
With a milk pitcher in a scale and under the group, actuate the group to the full brew position (all the way to the left)
After 10 seconds actuate the group to the 'off' position
Repeat this test 3 times for each group
Record each result and compare.
