Cleaning Flow Meter, Steam

What is a flow meter? 
A flow meter is a component in the machine which,using magnets, records how much water has passed through and sends the information to the board. The board then takes the information given and displays the value in grams on the display. 

Time Needed: 10-20 Minutes 

Tools Needed: #2 Phillips Screwdriver
Cleaning the flow meters
Turn off the power to the machine by flipping the toggle switch below the machine
Turn off the water to the machine at the wall 
Remove the cup tray panels, cup tray liner and set aside
Locate the flow meter, there will be one dedicated to each group

Flow Meter
Once located, open the ball valve to the left of the flow meter. This ball valve will drain the flow meter once the flow meter is open and the vacuum is broken
Remove the plug from the flow meter by unscrewing the Phillips screw holding it in
Unscrew the 3 screws holding the top plate of the flow meter

Once the top plate of the flow meter is removed, the rotating wheel and internals of the flow meter will be exposed

Remove the wheel and clean the internal space and wheel with a clean towel
Reassemble the flow meter, making sure the screws are tighten well 
Close the ball valve and turn on the water to the machine
Verify there are no leaks and reassemble the cup tray
