Diagnosing V3 Group Timer Button Working

Tools Needed: #2 Screwdriver, Voltage meter


Time Needed: 10 min

Remove the cup tray
Remove the top front panel. Using the screwdriver remove 3 screws on the front and 3 screws under where the cup tray sits. 


Disconnect hot water button


The purple wire is the group timer, Disconnect the molex connection


With the voltage meter set to continuity, check the continuity of the button. With the button in the off position (out) it should not have any signal (picture shown). With the button engaged it should have signal
