Legacy PRV Manifold:

Objective:
As of 2022, all SLAYER Steam Series machines relocated the position of the PRV (Image below). This update removed the legacy PRV/Vacuum Breaker Manifold (10005-03030) which extended off the rear of the steam tank via a short copper line. The Vacuum Breaker was relocated to the top of the steam tank.

Info
SLAYER Steam X Parts List remain complete with the legacy manifold block.

A result of this change was the introduction of a CB certified 1.9bar PRV on all production SLAYER Steam Series machines. Included in current Preventative Maintenance Kits and available as a spare part from SLAYER's Customer Service team: orders@slayerespresso.com. This PRV is a different shape and therefor requires a 'Street Elbow (42000-10200 G3/8-F X R3/8 STREET ELBOW)' to remain compatible with the legacy manifold block.

Alert
To ensure all legacy SLAYER Steam Series machines remain compatible with SLAYER Preventative Maintenance Kits it is recommended to install the PRV/Vacuum Breaker Manifold with the Street Elbow (42000-10200).

Idea
To ensure all legacy SLAYER Steam Series machines remain compatible with SLAYER Preventative Maintenance Kits it is recommended to install the PRV/Vacuum Breaker Manifold (10005-03030) with the Street Elbow (42000-10200).

Legacy PRV Manifold Block w/ 2.5bar PRV
  1. Commercially available pressure relief valves may be used in lieu of OEM SLAYER PRV as long as their dimensions don't exceed the cup tray threshold (indicated by the height of the rear heat shield panel).

Legacy PRV Manifold Block w/ 1.9bar CB PRV & Street Elbow Fitting
  1. Street elbow fitting (42000-10200) may be assembled onto legacy PRV manifold block (10005-03030) using green, thread wicking, Loctite as a permanent assembly.
  2. This allows for 1.9bar CB PRV to not interfere with cup tray once assembled.

Incorrect assembly of 1.9bar CB PRV & Legacy Manifold Block.
  1. Installation of 1.9bar CB PRV without street elbow fitting will not allow cup tray to rest evenly on machine.
