Removing Upper Front Panel - Steam Series


Raising The Hood



Objective:
Remove upper front panel in order to perform service.  

Time:
30 minutes

Tools:
#2 Philips Head Screw Driver
1/2" Wrench

Step 1:
Turn off machine and unplug from power. Shut off water feed.

Step 2:
Remove the cup tray panels and unscrew the cup tray screw

Step 3:
Remove the screws from the inside of the top front panel.


Step 4:
Remove front screws on top front panel - 5 on 2 group. 6 on 3 group


Step 5:
Remove hot water tip. Spin the steam valves and hot wand to face the inside of the machine


Step 6:
Lower both steam actuators. (On position)


Step 7:
Rock the display forward and lift straight up. Rest the display on the steam wand grips.



To fully remove the panel, detach the following wires and slide the panel backward until it's past the steam wands. 

Steam LP & X:
  1. Display ribbon cable
  2. Hot water button
Steam EP:
  1. Display ribbon cable
  2. Hot water button
  3. Push buttons for shots
