Removing Panels V3

Removing Panels V3

Time Needed: 1-2 Hours

Tools Needed: #3 flat head screwdriver, #2 Phillips screwdriver, #2 Stubby screw driver, Crescent wrench

Turn off the machine, Unplug from wall

Turn off water to the machine

Open steam valve to drain all steam from the machine

Remove Cup Tray and top front cover

Be sure to disconnect the water button from the top front panel

Remove side panels. Remove the top two screws and the bottom back screw. 


To remove side panel, rock backwards and lift out. Be careful not to scratch the outside of the panel on the X

Remove back panel. Place something underneath to brace the electronics panel. The bottom of the back panel holds up the electronics. Two screws on top, two screws on bottom (use the stubby screwdriver). 

Remove the actuator, being sure to hold the screw in place. There is a stack up of washers, once the actuator is off place the screw and washers to the side in the same stack up.


Remove the steam tube






Loosen lower front panel. Remove the 5 screws on the bottom, and two screws under the group heads, the high voltage panel can lower down and rest.



Disconnect the tube from the group head to the gauge. Place a towel beneath the fittings to catch any residual water. 

Disconnect the tube to the hot water spout. Place a towel beneath the fittings to catch any residual water. 


Remove the steam valve, two screws under the actuator. 















Loosen actuator nut, Tip, to loosen the nut place a towel over the smooth part on the outside and use a vice grip to hold in place. Loosen the nut, no need to spin out the actuator bolt. 


While supporting the panel, Remove the last screw on the X, Bottom front.



Re-assemble in the same order.
