Replacement of RTD Espresso Line
Tools Needed: Philips Screwdriver, 12mm Wrench, Teflon Tape
Time Needed: 30min
Shut off water
Turn off power
Remove screws on group cover
Remove Group Cover
The RTD has the white wire running off of it
Follow the white wire and disconnect the molex
Remove the group neck cover
Clip off the molex and pull the wire through the shroud
With a 12mm wrench remove the RTD from the group head.
Install the new RTD
Wrap 3 wraps of teflon tape on the threads
Insert into the group head and tighten until snug
Turn on the water to the machine
Inspect for leaks
Plug into Molex
Replace group cover
Test for operation
