Replacement of SSR on Power Supply V3

Replacement of SSR on Power Supply V3

Tools Needed: #2 Philips Head Screwdriver, Large flat head screwdriver, Needle nose pliers, 2 x 7/16" wrenches. 

Time Needed 30-45 minutes. 

1. Verify the incorrect relay's are on the power supply. 

2. Remove the front screws that hold the power supply assembly



3. Drop the panel down and investigate the SSR's with a mirror. You're looking for the 24v DC. 





Two group V3 will have two SSR's to check


Three group V3 will have one SSR to check


4. If you identify that the SSR needs to be changed Remove the power supply. 
5. Remove the cover of the elements. Cut down the middle in a straight line, this will allow you to easily replace it and secure it with electrical tape. 




6. Remove the wires from the element 


7. Disconnect the connectors from the High Limit. 


8. Disconnect the ground wire with a 7/16 wrench. 


9. When all the wires are disconnected remove the assembly from the machine. Remove the top cover. 


10. Disconnect the wires from the relay


11. Remove the relay and replace. 


12. Replace all items in order.
