Replacing Anti-Suction Valve/Vacuum Breaker, Single Group



Time Needed: 10-15 Minutes

Parts Needed:

46000-50140 Vacuum Breaker/ Anti-Suction Valve
46000-50130 Gasket for Vacuum Breaker/Anti-Suction Valve

Tools Needed:

Small Adjustable Wrench




Step 1: Unplug machine from power source


Step 2: Remove cup tray from machine


Step 3: Use adjustable wrench to remove vacuum breaker, making sure the wrench is level with the vacuum breaker. If the wrench is used at an angle, there is risk in breaking the fitting. 



Step 4: Wrap the new vacuum breaker in 3 wraps of Teflon tape



Step 5: Install new vacuum breaker hand tight


Step 6: Tighten vacuum breaker with wrench a half turn or until resistance


Step 7: Turn on machine and look for leaks around the vacuum breaker. If the vacuum breaker is leaking, tighten slightly with a wrench.
