Objective:
Parts:
- 46000-56091 PORTAFILTER GASKET
Tools:
- 45 or 90 Pick
- Flathead Stubby Screw Driver
- Portafilter
Step 1:
- Remove dispersion screw and screen.
Step 2:

Gasket may be stiff and brittle if maintenance is overdue!
Step 3:
- Clean group head with scrubber brush.
- Install new gasket with the flat edge orientated in the UP position.
- In the image below, the visible part of the gasket presses up and into the group head.
Portafilter basket is designed to contact tapered edge of gasket.
Step 4:
- Once installed. Press gasket into place and engage one ear of a portafilter into the group and rotate counter clockwise to seat the gasket.
- Repeat on other ear.
Step 5:
- Verify gasket is seated correctly by inserting a blank portafilter and activating the group.
Reinstall dispersion screen and screw either finger-tight or less than a quarter turn with a flat head screwdriver! This will ensure the convex shape of the SLAYER dispersion screen is not unintentionally flattened.
