Remove wires from high limit switch

Remove the high limit switch. The high limit switch is a brass fitting that screws into stainless steel. It is very fragile and can break easily. Attempt removing with your fingers, if that does not work, use a wrench.

Replace the new high limit. DO NOT USE A TOOL TO TIGHTEN. the high limit works by making contact with the boiler. It only needs to be finger tip tight. Using a wrench will damage the part and potentially break it.

Replace all the parts and test.
