Reset Factory Default - Steam X, LP, & EP
Slayer recommends that all service be performed by an experienced Slayer Espresso trained technician.
Resetting to factory default will reset all personal settings. Scroll through the menu settings and record the below information:
- Programed Recipes
- Brew Group Temperature Settings & Offsets
- Flowmeter Offsets
- Date & Time
- Power Save Schedules
Hard Reset
Step 1:
Scroll to Switch Off.
Press encoder, scroll to YES and select. The screen will show OFF and the time.
From this menu, press and hold the encoder for 10 seconds to enter the deep menu.
Record following information:
- Serial Number
- Steam LP: FlowMeterRateG
Scroll to Exit Menu. Press the encoder.
You're now ready to reset the machine.
Step 2:
Turn OFF the high voltage breaker.
Turn OFF the main power toggle switch.
Turn ON the main power rocket switch while simultaneously pressing down the encoder knob and hot water button until the Group 1 display reads Preset Done.
Release the buttons.
Power cycle machine.
Upon power cycling the machine. Group 1 will briefly prompt the firmware version and a blank serial number.
Step 3:
Re-enter the information. The most important is:
- Serial Number
- Number of Groups
- Brew Temperature Offsets
- Flowmeter Offset
- Steam LP: FlowMeterRate G
