Panel Alignment - Espresso Single Group
Espresso Single Group Panel Alignment
Effective October 2022 - Present

Objective:
Re-align side panels to base plate. Commonly caused by rough transit or loose bolts which may 'twist' the side panels.
Symptoms:
- Side panels are not flush with base plate:
- 10004-12050 BASE PLATE, E1
- Front panel sitting proud of side panel contours.
- Rear panel appears uneven.
- 1 - 2 hours

Tools:
- Hex
- M5
- 3/16"
- Wrench
- 7/16"
- Socket
- 7/16"
- #2 Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1:
- Place machine on block.
- Remove:
- Cup Tray
- Drip Tray Cover
- Front Upper Panel
- Rear Panel
Step 2:
- Loosen hex bolts labeled 1 on image below.
- Follow by removing the outside cosmetic hub by loosening arrow 2 (Interior recess).

Be sure to hold cosmetic hub while loosening bolt!
Step 3:
- Using a 7/16 socket, lightly loosen 4 nuts below and adjust side panel as necessary to be flush with base plate.
This should clear up the front panel resting proud of the side panels.
Step 4:
- Once side panels are aligned with base plate, tighten the four (4) bolts in a radial pattern to ensure proper fit.
- Reassemble panels.

Slight adjustments may be required for all panels to ensure a clean alignment.
