Single Group Board Power Test
- Unplug the machine.
- Remove the back panel, being aware of the ribbon cable attached to the screen.
- Unplug all the plugs except #1 and #3.
- Follow #3 up to the screen and make sure it is attached to the screen, set the back panel to the left side of the machine.
- Plug the main power in.
- Do green LED lights illuninate on the board?
- Does the display light up?
- If so, Plug each plug in sequence, after you plug one in, examine the machine to make sure the display is still on and lights on the board are still illuminated.
- Plug in each one until you identify which one is causing the short. The two main culprits are Typically #8 and #9.
- If #9 shorts out, unplug the machine, remove the boot from each solenoid. There are 3 in the machine. Inlet located on the back left, Needle valve, and Brew valve (on the neck of the brew boiler). Turn on the machine and attach the solenoid boots starting with the brew valve, then needle valve, then inlet.
