Error Code Identification - Steam Series


Steam X, EP, & LP Error Code Identification



SLAYER Steam Series feature error codes which correspond to the affected hydraulic or electrical circuit. There error codes help isolate further troubleshooting measures.
Error codes replace the temperature and/or pressure value (observed on the display) of the faulted circuit.
Brew Circuit
  1. AL1:
    1. Group temp probe (thermistor) is interrupted or disconnected.
    2. Disables group's heating circuit
    3. Check that the thermistor is connected, Molex pins are in place and wires are snug.
  2. AL2:
    1. Group temp probe (thermistor) has a short circuit.
    2. Disables group's heating circuit.
    3. Check thermistor in group, see if wires are damaged, or shorting against each other.
Steam Circuit
  1. ↑STM - Steam Fill T-Out:
    1. Filling timeout after four minutes.
    2. Disables heating circuit for entire machine.
    3. Check water path to machine.
  2. STM AL1:
    1. Transducer is disconnected or interrupted.
    2. Check connection at the board.
    3. Check Molex pins are in place and wires are snug.
  3. STM AL2:
    1. Transducer is over pressure.
    2. Check that the steam tank has not overfilled.
      1. Obstruction in autofill solenoid.
    3. Possible runaway SSR is overheating the steam tank. 
Universal:
  1. Please wait for fill up.
    1. Autofill circuit has not complete.
    2. Please allow steam tank to fill before actuating brew groups.
