Verify Firmware - SLAYER Steam X, EP, & LP
Objective:
Identify operating firmware for diagnosis, hardware compatibility, and machine features.
There are several hardware retrofits, improvements, and bug fixes which come as a result of upgrading firmware. Notable updates include:
- Original SLAYER Steam Vaporizer removal.
- Honeywell to Eltek transducer retrofit.
- Display OFF feature.

Steam LP: 1.22
Steam EP: 1.10
Steam X: 1.07
Step 1:
This step happens quickly!
- Power cycle machine by turning the main power rocker switch OFF & ON.
- The switch is located under the bottom right side of the machine from the barista point of view.
- With eyes on the Group 1 display.
- A brief prompt will flash on display:
- Firmware Version
- Group Number
- Serial Number
