Steam Actuator Adjustment - Steam Series

Adjusting Steam Actuator - Steam Series

Objective:
Slayer magnetic steam actuators have two positions: Up is a rinse that should bounce back to the off position. On is a continuous steam actuation. The actuator should index in the center and now bounce between the two positions. This article will show how to adjust the tension of the steam actuator.

Time:
10 minutes

Tools Needed:
Two 7'16" wrenches
(Optional) 7'16" socket

Procedure

Step 1:

Step 2:
Adjust the tension of the actuator using one 7/16” wrenches on the inside of the machine and one on the outside of the machine.

For the outer nut, you can use either a socket or a fitted wrench. Clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen.
Make sure the actuator bounces back from "rinse" and doesn't travel down to the "On" position.
