Drip Tray Reservoir Installation - Single Group (Classic)


Drip Tray Reservoir Installation


Slayer recommends that all service be performed by an experienced Slayer Espresso trained technician. 

Objective:
The following guide demonstrates removal of standard configuration drip tray liner and installation of drip tray reservoir on a Slayer Single Group featuring a legacy drain box manifold.

Parts:
  1. 13004-10240 Dray Tray With Reservoir, Single Group
  2. 40000-32160 Silicone Tube, 9"

Tools:
  1. 7/16" Wrench
  2. 7/16" Socket
  3. Needle Nose Pliers
  4. Small Flathead Screw Driver
Step 1:
  1. Remove drip tray cover.

Step 2:
  1. Remove drip tray liner bolts with 7/16" socket and wrench.

Step 3:
  1. Disconnect drain tube by sliding spring clip forward using needle nose pliers.
Be careful not to scratch front panel.


  1. Drip tray liner may now be removed from machine.

  1. Detach drain hose using a flathead screwdriver.

Step 4:
  1. Using needle nose pliers. Attach new silicon drain tube to drain box barb using the same spring clip as before.
  2. Confirm drain tube is secure.

Step 5:
Reservoir drip tray does not require hardware.
  1. Snap drip tray into place and drop silicon drain tube into reservoir cut out.

  1. Carefully place drip tray cover back in place.
