Love Control Settings - Slayer V3


Love Control Settings  & UI Navigation - Slayer V3




Slayer recommends that all service be performed by an experienced Slayer Espresso trained technician. 

Objective:
The Love Controller manages the heating circuit for the Preheat and Steam tanks on the Slayer V3. All settings are default from the factory and recommended not to be adjusted. (Except for P2. More information below.)

Terminology:
  1. Preheat Tank
    1. OUT 1 = SD1
  2. Steam Tank
    1. OUT 2 = SD2
The illuminated red dots next to the OUT1 & OUT2  values are heating indicators.

Instructions for navigating menu settings:
  1. Default view is active Preheat (OUT1) temperature.
  2. Press 'set' to toggle between Preheat and Steam tank set temperature values. Observe the illuminated red dot next next to the corresponding circuit.
    1. You may adjust these values with the 'up' and 'down' arrows.
  3. Press 'set' and 'up' arrow to view active Steam (OUT2/SD2) temperature.
    1. Press 'set' and up' arrow to return to default view.
To enter menu settings:
  1. Hold 'set' for 8 seconds to enter program menu.
  2. Use to up and down arrows to navigate settings.
  3. Press 'set' and 'down arrow' simultaneously to exit program menu.
To begin programing: first adjust the P0 setting to Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on your preferred measurement.

    1. Steam Tank Temperature Offset
    2. Lowering offset increases steam pressure. Raising has opposite effect. 
    3. Example: Steam gauge is resting at 1 bar while SD2 is at 262F (128C). Incrementally lowering P2 value will increase steam gauge pressure reading.
